A DUBBO-based participant has been arrested on charges of corruption.
Following an investigation by the Organised Crime Squad, the man was taken into custody yesterday, where he was issued with charges at the local Police station.
He will face two counts of engaging in conduct which corrupts a betting outcome and use of corrupt information to bet.
It’s believes the horseman administered two horses with banned substances before competing at Parkes last August.
As part of the investigation, the squad also searched a nearby house, where they seized various documents and evidence, including betting information and performance enhancing substances.
Granted bail, the male is schedule to appear in court in late April.
