WHEN it comes to racing – and most sports – we’re told there is no such thing as a ‘certainty’.
Yet at Albion Park tomorrow at least one certainty is set to take place.
With the opening race catering for two-year-olds, consisting of debutants, Hurrikane Kingcole is a certainty to sire the winner.
That’s because each runners in the field is by highly-credentialed stallion.
Frost En Ice is the favourite for veteran trainer Vic Frost after drawing the pole.
A granddaughter of Frost’s former superstar Westburn Grant, Frost En Ice recently won a trial by 19 metres in 1:58.2 over 1660 metres.
Also trialling impressively of late, Xaviers Hurrikane was successful in his most recent trial when rating 1:57.5 over 1660 metres.
Xaviers Hurrikane will begin from barrier five for trainer Shawn Grimsey.
Boasting a best mark of 1:47.6, Hurrikane Kingcole stands for Queensland-based establishment Egmont Park.
