THE brilliant win of Dance Craze in the Group 2 $30,000 E. B. Cochran Cup at Ballarat was the highlight of a host of winners by Muscle Hill in the holiday racing.
Dance Craze, who survived a torrid passage, sent her stake earnings over the $400,000 mark. It was her eighth win at Group level.
Muscle Hill also left the Bendigo winner Bullion Lady and the NZ three-year-old winners Bolt For Brilliance (Auckland), Midnight Dash (Nelson) and Kahress (Blenheim).
Trixton was represented by his first NZ bred winner in the three-year-old filly Gaytana, who notched her first win at Nelson, and the Bendigo three-year-old winner Justatrixsta.
Trixton has sired four winners to date from only 20 Australasian bred foals in his first crop.
Meanwhile, in other breeding news, Changeover’s progeny have topped $1 million worldwide for the fifth year on end.
He has sired 72 individual winners to date in the 2019/20 season.
The Burwood Stud flagship sired three winners at Albion Park last week – Tiz A Sizzler NZ (1:54.9), who has won three of his five starts on Australian soil, Change Of Mind (1:54.1) and With The Band NZ (1:56.2).
Other recent winners by Changeover were Endless (Junee), Woodlea Ragnar NZ (2:00, Northam) and the NZ winners Wee Ring The Changes (1:58.9), Franco Texas (1:59.9) and Martin John.
