A FAVOURABLE draw has Our Sequel in a strong position to continue his winning streak at Albion Park tonight.
Winner of his last five starts, Our Sequel is part of a raiding team brought north by New South Wales trainer KerryAnn Morris.
To Morris’ delight Our Sequel has drawn barrier two over 2138 metres, which has seen the son of Mach Three positioned at the top of the table at $1.75 with TAB Fixed Odds.
Our Sequel will be driven by Morris’ husband, Robbie.
“We’re very happy with his draw,” Morris said. “He should settle in front or close to it from there, which will make him hard to beat.
“He is versatile too and doesn’t mind if he has to do a bit of work, but he is the kind which doesn’t like to do any more than he has to.
“When he first got here from New Zealand we had some issues with him so he was sent for a spell and has come back well.
“He’s handled the trip up and has settled in fine, so I can’t see any reason he won’t put in another good run.”
Confident Our Sequel can make his way through the grades, Morris will continue to find “the right races” for the four-year-old.
“He can’t do much more than win each of his starts this time in, but we have also been able to place him well in his races,” Morris said.
“There is no reason why he can’t keep going through the classes although there is nothing specific picked out for him.
“Just find the right races for him and see how he goes.”
