MONTANA PABLO
Former Aussie too slick in USA
March 4, 2018 Paul Courts

FORMER Australian pacer Montana Pablo caused a minor upset with his victory at The Meadows last night.
After trailing A Real Miracle around the home turn, Montana Pablo was angled wide before finishing strongly along the straight.
Grabbing the lead in the last stride, the son of Blissfull Hall scored by a half-length from A Real Miracle, with Chucaro Art Surco a length away third.
Paying 7/1 with Aaron Merriman in the cart, Montana Pablo stopped the clock in 1:53.
Bred in Queensland, the gelding is trained in the northern hemisphere by Brandon Presto, with his latest win stretching his bankroll to $375,531.
Merriman enjoyed a top night in the sulky, with Montana Pablo’s success part of a quartet.
