Thanks to his victory in the main event, Cruz Bromac’s price has been cut almost in half with TAB Fixed Odds.
At $17 before the time honoured handicap, Cruz Bromac is now at $9 for co-trainers Mark Purdon and Natalie Rasmussen.
Driven by Blaire Orange, Cruz Bromac led home a stable quinella as Purdon partnered the runner-up, Spankem.
As a result of his defeat Spankem has eased from $2.50 to $2.80 but remains at the head of wagering.
Although fifth in his New Zealand Cup defence, Thefixer is the second elect having tightened from $5 to $4.
The biggest mover over all is Australian squaregaiter Tough Monarch.
Thanks to his victory in the Group One Trotting Free-For-All Tough Monarch had his price for the trotters’ series cut from $11 to $7.
The Rickie Alchin-trained gelding was listed at $21 when markets first opened.
