RISING star King Of Swing will continue his campaign towards the majors when he competes at Gloucester Park tonight.

Already a multiple Group One winner, with his victories including last season’s Western Australia Derby, King Of Swing has been aimed at the state’s main four-year-old events by trainer Gary Hall.

Beginning with the Four-Year-Old Championship on November 16, the son of Rocknroll Hanover has also been set towards the Yes Loans Classic and Golden Nugget.

“He’ll just keep racing along as we get ready for his age races,” Hall said. “He’s done a terrific job since we’ve had him and hopefully that will continue.

“There are a number of pretty good four-year-olds this season, but he is in the top group.”

To be driven by Gary Hall junior, King Of Swing has drawn barrier three which has seen him installed a hot $1.04 favourite.

The entire has won five of his six starts this campaign with a second also to his credit.

“He’s in great shape and it is hard to see him being beaten,” Hall said. “He’s still got to get out and get the job done, but he’s ready for this.

“I will give him one more start after this then it’s on to the main races.”
