HANDY mare Camera Lady enjoyed a 29.2-second quarter ‘breather’, then sprinted off to her third straight victory in last night’s $20,000 Filly and Mare Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.

Camera Lady duelled three-wide through a demanding 27.2 opening quarter, but after Dave Palone stepped on the brakes, the four-year-old daughter of Dragon Again-Ann Van Go repelled the first-over challenge of Caviart Scarlett to score in 1:54.2.

Yankee Moonshine rallied for second, six lengths back, with Keystone Riptide third.

Ron Burke trains Camera Lady, which lifted her bankroll to $233,298, for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver-Bruscemi LLC.

Palone collected four wins, including three for Burke, on the 13-race card.
