LEADING breeding establishment Egmont Park Stud will become the naming rights sponsor to four prominent juvenile feature races to be run at Albion Park in 2019.

Beginning with next month’s two-year-old QBred Breeders Classic Finals, Egmont Park Stud will sponsor the two-year-old Group One QBred Triad Finals set to be run on July 20, the final night of the TAB Winter Carnival.

“We are always happy to encourage and support harness racing in Queensland,” Egmont Park studmaster, Peter Bell, said.

Albion Park Harness Racing Club Chairman David Fowler stated the organisation is thrilled to have secured such a valuable sponsor for the prestigious events.

“The Albion Park Harness Racing Club is delighted to secure Egmont Park Stud’s sponsorship for these prestigious races,” Fowler said.

“These races regularly promote the best in our younger ranks and are often a springboard to bigger and better things.

“Egmont Park has long been the trail blazer in Queensland breeding and the club has also enjoyed a close association with the nursery.

“It’s wonderful for their brand to be associated with these feature races”.

As part of the sponsorship, Egmont Park Stud will also play host to a special function for owners who have qualified starters for the two-year-old Triad Finals to be held at Albion Park on The Blacks A Fake race night July 20.

Egmont Park Stud will also continue their sponsorship of the South-East Derby and Oaks held during the Winter Carnival as well as the two Summer Carnival feature races – the Group Two Queensland Cup and the Group Two D J Alexander Memorial Trotters’ Championship.
