Leading horseman eager for Sale

LEADING horseman Ryan Hryhorec is excited about Sunday’s Allwood Stud SA Yearling Sale to be conducted at the Magic Millions complex, Morphettville.

Having purchased lots at the last three SA sales, Hryhorec is keen to bid on several yearlings he has circled in his catalogue.

“This is the best collection of yearlings in an SA sale for quite some time,” Hryhorec said. “I’m looking forward to getting down there and hopefully bringing a few back to the stable.”

The sale will see 35 youngsters, which breaks down to 18 fillies and 17 colts – including two fillies and a colt from Victorian breeding establishment Goodtime Lodge.

Lots 3 – a filly – and 32 – a colt- are by Shadyshark Hanover, which is a resident stallion for Goodtime Lodge’s owners Ian and Judi Slater.

The Slaters are also offering Lot 25, which is a daughter of Western Terror.

The trio are all well-bred with winners littered throughout their pedigree.
