POPULAR horsewoman Megan Gee is hoping to complete a hat-trick at Globe Derby tomorrow night.
Breaking her training maiden with Puddinhead at the same venue last week, Gee then registered consecutive wins when Lorne Beach scored at the track a couple of days later.
Gee will once again be represented by Puddinhead, which has drawn awkwardly in barrier five.
“It would be lovely if I can get three in a row,” Gee said. “The draw is tough and he is in a hard field, but he will do his best…he always tries.
“I can only keep my fingers crossed and hope.
“Crystal Sparkles is first-up from a spell, but is still the one to beat from the pole.”
Gee will also be back on Monday when Lorne Beach returns to tackle free-for-allers from barrier two.
“Lorne Beach while struggle, but will also do his best,” Gee said. “He’s against some open class horses, but I’m happy with the way he is going.
“I’ve only got the two in work and now I have a stable of last start winners….I probably should retire.”
