PROMINENT horseman Tim Butt admits he is unsure how to assess Daryl Boko’s prospects ahead of tomorrow night’s Tabcorp Park Menangle meeting.
Although Butt is positive Daryl Boko is racing well enough to win, handicap for the Keystone Del Trotters’ Cup has made life difficult for the gelding.
The son of Majestic Son is the sole runner on the 30-metre back mark.
“I’m pleased with the way he has been racing and working,” Butt said. “There are no worries there.
“The query is whether he can win from 30 metres.”
Butt’s concerns include War Dan Destroyer, which beat Daryl Boko at the same venue last week.
Also racing in solid form, War Dan Destroyer will start from the 10-metre line.
“We couldn’t beat War Dan Destroyer in a mobile last week and now we’re giving 20 metres this time,” Butt said.
“He’s going along well and is the one to beat again.”
