Tiger top ranked Aussie

DEFENDING champion Lazarus tops the ranking for next season’s New Zealand Cup released this morning.

With 28 nominations received for the time-honoured event, Lazarus was the automatic choice for the head of the table.

Co-trained by Mark Purdon and Natalie Rasmussen, Lazarus’ stablemate – Dream About Me – is sitting at two thanks to her Auckland Cup success.

Tiger Tara is the highest ranked Australian, coming in at number three for New South Wales horseman Kevin Pizzuto
