WITH the breeding season upon us, Hurrikane Kingcole has provided a timely reminder of his credentials during the past week.

From seven horses bred, Hurrikane Kingcole sired three two-year-old stake winners last weekend, including Hurrikane Emperor.

By scoring in 1:50.4 around the Red Mile, Hurrikane Emperor became the freshman in the country.

Hurrikane Emperor was driven by ex-patriot Aussie, Andy McCarthy, who was based in Queensland before his move to America.

Ironically, Queensland is the Australian home for Hurrikane Kingcole, which was a known speedster on the racetrack.

Boasting a best mark of 1:47.6, Hurrikane Kingcole is credited with the fastest mile at Mohawk at 1:46.2 after missing the race start.

Given the feats of his early progeny, Hurrikane Kingcole is destined to have a busy stud season!
