A PAIR of harness racing’s leading ladies enjoyed a fruitful visit to Club Menangle last Saturday.

KerryAnn Turner and Amanda Turnbull registered doubles during the evening, with the latter scoring as trainer and driver.

Turner’s kicked started the program on a high when her partner Robbie Morris drove Smokey Quartz to a half-head victory over God Send.

Scoring at the lucrative odds of $41.30, the seven-year-old recorded his 14th win from 60 starts.

Turner then ‘bookended’ the meeting when with Kleened Out also caused an upset when paying $11.20.

Positioning the five-year-old towards the rear of the field, Turner burst into action with Kleened Out coming into the final turn.

The widest runner entering the home straight, Kleened Out hit the lead with 100 metres to run before cruising to five-metre win from Never Know Ozzie.

Turnbull’s double with Mister Clooney and My Bettor Bella has helped her stay in touch in the New South Wales Drivers’ Premiership.

A comfortable two-metre victory delivered nine-year-old Mister Clooney his 14th win from 84 starts.

My Bettor Bella rounded out Turnbull’s double by accounting for Highview Freddy and Sky Operative in 1:55.9 over a mile.

Elsewhere on the card, Double Event ran the fastest time of the meeting to win the Group Three Club Menangle Les Chant Free-For-All.

Trained by Harry Martin and driven by David Morris, the eight-year-old stopped the clock in 1:50.6.
