    AUSTRALIAN Group One winner Maczaffair proved too slick in yesterday’s feature at Saratoga Casino Hotel.

    Trained by Chris Dubois, Maczaffair capture the Fillies’ and Mares’ Open for the second time this year by she drew away in the stretch scoring from the pocket-sitting So Amazing.

    The daughter of Mach Three was pressured early which saw the first half covered in 56.3 seconds, but proved up to the task one her way to a four-and-a-half length victory in 1:54.1.

    It was the fourth victory from seven starts this season for the veteran.

    So Amazing finished second, while Maczaffair co-favourite Alittlesidehustl – also bred inNew Zealand – was third.

    During her Australian career Maczaffair captured the Group One Western Australia Oaks when prepared by Mike Reed and driven by Shannon Suvaljko.

    Maczaffair, which has bankrolled more than $600,000, crossed the equator with a pair of Group Twos and three Group Threes also to her credit.
