Incredible impact on a national scale

HER exploits have been well-documented throughout the season, but the true extent of Emma Stewart’s reach has almost gone undetected.

In fact, even Stewart was unaware of the incredible impact she has had on the national stage in 2025.

First let’s look at Stewart’s home state – Victoria.

For the 11th consecutive year, Stewart has claimed the State and Metropolitan Premierships, this time with 158 and 72 wins.

Stewart’s local victories include the Pacing Derby – for the third successive year – four Vicbred Finals, Four-Year-Old Championship, Melton Plate and four Breeders’ Crown Finals.

During her cross border raids, Stewart has captured key events such as The Protostar, The Eureka, Chariots Of Fire, Tasmania Oaks and Derby, New South Wales Derby, South Australia Oaks and a pair of Southern Cross Finals.

As impressive as those singular wins are, Stewart also made her presence felt in supporting races.

In fact, Stewart was so successful away from home, she finished in the top 10 among premierships in four states!

In New South Wales, Stewart is fourth on the Metropolitan Trainers’ Premiership with 20 wins from 58 starters.

Stewart’s squad has finished in the top three at a strike rate of 59.6 per cent.

On the other side of Bass Strait, Stewart is 10th on the State Premiership with 18 wins and a top three strike rate of 88.5 per cent.

Stewart’s strike rate sits on 85.3 per cent in South Australia, where she sits ninth on the premiership with 25 wins from 34 starters!

In relation to stakes, Stewart was the nation’s top trainer with her team earning $5,483,927.

“I had no idea that was the case,” Stewart said. “It has been a terrific year for the stable, and more importantly, our owners.

“You never start the year looking to win a premiership, but you do aim to win as many races as you can for those owners, so if things go your way, the premiership takes care of themselves.

“I don’t know if we can repeat it next year, but we will try our best.”
