The field was selected from the 16 nominations received by Tasracing’s Eureka Selection Panel, comprising the Director of Racing, Chairman of Stewards and Office of Racing Integrity staff, Tasracing CEO and Tasracing staff.

If the winner of The Beautide can’t participate in the TAB Eureka before August 25, the next highest-placed candidate will be offered Tasracing’s slot.

The Beautide is named after the state’s best pacer of the modern era, which won the industry’s pinnacle race, the Inter Dominion, in 2014 and 2015, and over $2.1 million in earnings across his 49 wins.

The Tasmanian Trotting Club has organised a host of on track attractions for The Beautide meeting, including live music, guest speakers, and Tasmanian TV cooking personality Ben Milbourne, who will be making “The Beautide Burger”.

Dining packages are limited and can be made by phone with the Tasmanian Trotting Club at (03) 62 144 260 or by email admin@taspacing.com.au

For those unable to make it to the track, the meeting will be live hosted on TasracingTV along with additional Sky Racing coverage.
