TRADITIONALLY two lots of four equal eight.
At Club Menangle yesterday, however, a pair of quartets equated to six!
Dominating the card, husband and wife Robbie and KerryAnn Morris each notched four victories to secure six races.
KerryAnn trained four winners, while Robbie was successful with two pacers and two trotters as a driver.
The mathematic abnormality comes from the couple combining for a double, while also registering another two wins separately.
The Morris’ joined forces to score with Karmnic Rose and Cloud Nine which both recorded ‘firsts’.
Having her third start, Karmic Rose broke her maiden status when she led home a KerryAnn-trained trifecta.
Rating 2:03.4, the three-year-old daughter of Andover Hall accounted for her stablemates Agent Maori and Allaboutthemoment.
“She has done a terrific job so far,” KerryAnn said. “Second at her first two starts and now a win against older horses.
“Everything she has done suggests she will keep getting better with racing.”
A recent addition to the team, Cloud Nine completed his first win since arriving from New Zealand by covering the mile in 1:53.4.
KerryAnn also prepared Rocknroll Gama and Chapter One to win with Joshua Gallagher in the cart, while Robbie partnered Illawong Sunny and Vinny Chase to glory for trainers Brad Abbott and Rob Xerri.
“It was the kind of day where everything fell into place,” KerryAnn said.
