Oaks result to increase interest in APG Lot

LAST Saturday’s New South Wales Oaks at Club Menangle is destined to increase interest in one youngster during Sunday’s Australian Pacing Gold Sale.

The fifth leg of the not-for-profit company’s 2021 ‘tour’, the Sydney Sale boasts a tremendous collection of quality-bred yearlings from leading sires, top producing broodmares and former star race mares.

As for the Lot which is bound to draw more attention, it is a colt by American Ideal from Perfect Penny.

The athletic looking bay will enter the ring as Lot 702.

At stud Perfect Penny boasts two winners from three starts, with both successful at Group One level.

Miss Halfpenny was also a placegetter in two Group Ones.

Runner-up in a pair of Group Ones last season, Anntonia recorded a well-deserved top shelf triumph in the Oaks.
