JOE BORG and Inmydreams on the training track
Promising mare stepping up in grade

PROMISING mare Inmydreams will step up in grade this weekend.
A last-start winner in Ballarat, Inmydreams has earned a shot at better riches according to trainer Joe Borg, which will result in the squaregaiter heading to Melton on Saturday night.
As such the daughter of Lucky Chucky will contest a 56-69 Trot over 2240 metres.
“It’s not ideal having a mare which has only had 14 starts going up in class so quickly, but it’s the way the system is now,” Borg said.
“She’s won three races and run a half-dozen placings, so her record is solid enough to say she’s earned a shot at racing in town.”
To be driven by Borg’s brother, Charlie, Inmydreams has drawn to settle in a prominent position from barrier two.
Successful at his last two starts, Keayang Chucky shapes as the one to beat from gate five.
Borg is also wary of Sebastians Boy, which scored first-up from a three-month spell last week, despite drawing barrier 12.
“She’s drawn to get into a nice position early and hopefully can make the most of it from there,” Borg said. “Having a mares’ claim helped with her draw.
“Keayang Chucky has looked impressive winning his couple of runs from a break, as did Sebastians Boy.
“I think it is fair to say they’re the pair to beat.”
