VETERAN pacer Cash N Flow has claimed another record.

Proving too slick at Club Menangle last night, Cash N Flow registered his 28th victory at the world class venue to take the title for the most wins around the 1400-metre circuit.

Heading into the program the son of Mach Three was equal with multiple Group One winner, Tough Monarch, which won his 27th race at the track last February.

The son of Monarch was retired after his following start, which saw him finish sixth at Group One level.

But thanks to his latest effort, Cash N Flow occupies the throne alone.

With David Morris holding the reins, Cash N Flow worked to the front from barrier six before completing an eight-and-a-half metre triumph from Kanena Provlima.

The Black Prince was a half-head away third in 1:50.8 over a mile.

Trained by Belinda McCarthy, the 10-year-old took his record to 42 wins and 16 placings from 97 starts for earnings of $691,439.

“He has been a wonderful horse and to see him grab the record is terrific,” Belinda said. “He’s a 10-year-old, but proved again he’s still got plenty of go in him.

“There are no big plans for him, so he will just keep racing at Menangle and I can’t see any reason why he won’t get a few more wins on the board to extend his record.”
