Chairman latest to leave board

AFTER 18 months on the board, George Fiacchi has resigned as a Director and Chair of Harness Racing SA.

According to a press release from HRSA, Fiacchi’s decision to vacate stems from his desire to focus on his other business interests.

Managing Director at Fiacchi Media and Management, Fiacchi was appointed by SA Racing Minister Corey Wingard in November 2019.

Following a “thorough selection process”, Fiacchi was part of a trio of appointments, which included Marc Taintey and Emma Grigson-Gair.

Fiacchi has become the third board member to leave HRSA in recent months joining Taintey and James Black on the departed list.
