Trained by James McPherson, the five-year-old has been among the placings during his last three ‘rounds’.
To be driven by Jack Trainor, Rocky Creed has drawn barrier five but slots into four with the removal of the emergency.
“I’ve been really happy with his last few runs,” McPherson said. “A bit of luck and the results could have been even better.
“From the draw we’ll have to go forward to look for a good spot early and then hope he can finish it off well enough.
“This is another step up, but his form and work suggest he is in with a chance.”
