‘Fab Five’ ready to dominate Group One

AUSTRALIAN Pacing Gold stock are poised to dominate Saturday night’s stellar Albion Park program.

The card is crammed with features, including the main event – The Rising Sun – in which five APG purchases will battle for glory.

It’s worth noting of the 12 runners engaged in the Group One, three are New Zealand-bred and four are owned by their breeders.

Unbeaten from three starts this season, the Grant Dixon-trained entire is a raging $1.40 favourite with TAB Fixed Odds despite drawing barrier seven – the outside of the front row.

The four-year-old will be joined by his ‘APG family’ members Don Hugo, My Ultimate Ronnie, Tims A Trooper and Speak The Truth.

Highlighting the strength of the APG crew, My Ultimate Ronnie is the second elect at $7 from barrier three.

Boasting a record of 16 wins and five placings from 26 starts, the Jarrod Alchin-trained entire is expected to search for the lead and make his presence felt from barrier three.
