FOR those who were glad to see Noami Kerr head back across the border we’ve got some bad news…she’ll be back!

Making the trip from Victoria into South Australia with three members of her stable for last Saturday night’s Globe Derby meeting, Kerr returned home with a trio of winners.

Rapt with the result, Kerr – who is a regular interstate raider – stated she plans on returning soon.

“I love going over to South Australia,” Kerr said. “I always enjoy racing there and have had a bit of success as well.

“I haven’t been over for a while as I had reduced my numbers over winter, but I am starting to pick up again and will definitely be back over as often as I can.

“I was training 35 at one stage and got down to eight, but am up to 16 now. There is room for a few more, but I’m not looking to get to 35 again.”

Continuing his strong form, Kyoretsu opened Kerr’s account on a perfect note by cruising to a 1:58.1 victory over 1800 metres.

With local reinsman Wayne Hill in the cart, Kyoretsu scored by four-and-a-half metres from My Rocky Romance, with Linxx a neck away third.

Hill was then replaced by his sister Dani, who guided The Golden Hook to a gusty win in 1:59.6 over 2230 metres.

After working overtime in the ‘death seat’, The Golden Hook accounted for Clarenden Tribute and Tommy Mach.

Kerr and Dani then combined to round out the training treble with No Good Reason, which broke her maiden in 2:01.4 over 1800 metres as Ride The Highway and Sienna Bella filled the placings.

“It was a perfect night,” Kerr said. “To go over with three runners and get three wins is amazing.

“I was pretty confident with all three, but grew in confidence once I was able to book Wayne and Dani as the drivers.”
