TONIGHT’S $100,000 features at Gloucester Park are destined to have a huge impact on Sunday’s results!

The co-main events on the card are Australian Pacing Gold Classics, with the leading sales company ready to conduct its Perth Yearling Sale during the weekend.

For two-year-olds, the majors will see 10 highly-talented colts and geldings and 10 classy fillies in action.

Of the 20, eight are from dams which have a yearling in the sale.

One name which stands out in the ‘boys’ division is Thelittle Master.

Trained by power couple Greg and Skye Bond, Thelittle Master is also a moniker bestowed on champion horseman Brian Gath.

Gath, whose list of achievements are too long to mention, believes the gelding deserves to be favourite despite his second row draw.

“He’d have to be my sentimental tip for everyone,” Gath said. “He’s drawn the back row and is among the outsiders, but with a name like that he deserves to be favourite.

“I doubt he was named after me, but if he wins a $100,000 race I will claim he was.

“Good luck to all involved with him.”

By promising Vincent, Thelittle Master is from former handy mare Anna Faye, which has a colt by Bettors Delight set to enter the sales’ ring as Lot 176.

A sporty looking type, the yearling hails from a family littered with strong performers, with Gath willing to offer some naming advice to the new connections.

“I’ve also been called Little B if they want to use it,” Gath said. “I’ve been called a few other things throughout the years, but I don’t think those can be used!”
