HANDY pacer I Got Chills’ wins are multiplying since arriving at Jason Grimson’s stable.

Winless for 11 months, I Got Chills has won two of his last three outings, including at Club Menangle last Saturday night.

Highlighting his impressive form, the son of Art Major has lowered his best time by a second-and-a-half to 1:50.2, which I Got Chills achieved during his latest outing.

With Grimson in the cart, I Got Chills led throughout the August Gift Final as an $11 outsider to score by a metre-and-a-half from $64 shot Janie Blu.

In a well-paid trifecta, $34 chance Magic Joe was six metres away third.

I Got Chills’ victory was the third leg in a training quartet for Grimson who prepared Bluto and Bettorlightem Up to win earlier on the card.

Grimson partnered Bettorlightem Up, while Cooper Griffiths steered Bluto to a career best 1:50.1 triumph.

Set to head to the breeding barn next month, Captains Knock rounded out Grimson’s night with a soft 1:52.2 victory over 2300 metres.

With Grimson in the cart, Captains Knock completed a 14-metre win from his stablemate Huta, with South Seas Rock seven-and-a-half metres away third.

Captains Knock is poised to stand the upcoming breeding season for Rampant Standardbreds.
