HARNESS racing’s marquee magazine show In The Gig returns on Sky Racing with a new line-up from August 4.
And In The Gig will reach a massive new audience now with Sky Racing 2 (Foxtel 527) going to Foxtel’s base tier and open to all subscribers from August 1.
“That means all two million-plus Foxtel subscribers will be able to watch Sky 2 now without having to pay the extra $5 fee to access it,” Sky Racing’s Adam Hamilton said.
“It paves the way so many more people to watch In The Gig and increases opportunities to showcase feature harness racing on Sky 2 as well as Sky’s digital platform, Sky Racing Active. It’s a hugely exciting step.”
Popular media identity and former In The Gig host, Gareth Hall, rejoins the show when it returns and will deliver a mix of news, tips and banter out of Sky’s Melbourne studio.
Ben Way is back as host, along with rising star Brittany Graham.
Hamilton will also be back as a regular on show, while NZ’s best-known harness face, Michael Guerin, will deliver a weekly look at racing on his side of ditch.
In the return show, Hamilton will interview HRA CEO Andrew Kelly to cover a myriad of key industry issues. It will be the first in a series with harness racing CEO’s from across Australia.
Graham is also working on a series of interviews with the brightest young stars of harness racing.
Don’t miss In The Gig, returning August 4 and every Tuesday night at 6pm and available for catch-up on the Sky Racing Active app.
