Perfect draw to continue strong form

A PERFECT draw should see Imsettogo continue her strong start to the season at Tabcorp Park Melton on Saturday night.

Successful at two of her three starts for the term, Imsettogo has drawn to settle close to the lead from the pole.

Although the mare is facing a rise in class, trainer Anton Golino believes the daughter of Used To Me will play a major role in the finish.

“She’s up in grade but the draw will help,” Golino said. “She’s fairly quick out so hopefully she can be prominent early.

“There is a bit of speed on the front line so whether she can lead I’m not sure.

“She’s a lot better than her overall form suggests and probably should be unbeaten his time in.

“During the Breed For Speed Final she hit a wheel and it’s possibly a win which got away from her.”

Expected to make a steady transition through the grades, Imsettogo will compete in suitable races as they are programmed.

“There isn’t much in mind for her,” Golino said. “It’s hard to make plans with any of them really as we just keep going week-to-week.

“She’s a big strong mare and I expect her to win her share of races before she gets on her mark.”
