SERIES favourite Majestic Man has drawn to kick-start his Inter Dominion campaign on a perfect note.
Heading the TAB Fixed Odds market at $3.20 to win the Final, Majestic Man will begin from barrier two in the opening heat at Club Menangle on Saturday night.
Sent across the Tasman last week by trainer Phil Williamson, the son of Majestic Son is in the care of Victorian-based couple Anthony Butt and Sonya Smith.
Stating the trotter has settled in “brilliantly”, Butt has no doubt Majestic Man is ready to return to winning form.
Majestic Man hasn’t won from eight starts on the Shaky Isles since winning at Group One level at Menangle in March.
Due to cross the border on Thursday, the squaregaiter will begin from barrier two.
“I couldn’t be happier with the way he has come over and settled in,” Butt said. “He’s settled in brilliantly and is in perfect condition.
“He’s got a good draw and will be ready to take full advantage of it.”
Citing local mare Funky Monkey as the main danger, Butt is also wary of Victorian pair The Penny Drops and Maori Law.
Funky Monkey and Maori Law have drawn the middle row, with The Penny Drops to come from seven.
