Drawn to register well-deserved win

IN-FORM trotter No Remorse has a strong chance to register another well-deserved win tonight.

Racing in consistent fashion since arriving from Queensland earlier this year, No Remorse has been among the placegetters in four of his last five starts.

Overall, the son of Trixton has had 13 outings for trainer Matt Maguire for two wins and six placings.

“I’ve been very happy with him,” Maguire said. “He goes out there and gives it his best everytime…you can’t ask for much more than that.”

Fresh from his second at Globe Derby last Saturday night, No Remorse has drawn to “go one better” in Port Pirie.

To be driven by Bernadette Page, No Remorse will begin from barrier two, with the gelding likely to gain a perfect trail behind his stablemate Feel The Moment.

Drawn gate three, Feel The Moment is expected to be sent forward by top reinsman Wayne Hill.

“Feel The Moment is very quick off the arm and should have no trouble finding the front,” Maguire said. “That gives No Remorse the chance to sit right on her back and come home hard.

“There is very little between them, so it will come down to which gets the better run.”
