A PAIR of last start winners are set to be transferred to another stable.
Successful at Globe Derby during the weekend, It Aint The Money and Godofthunder are heading to Queensland.
Trainer Aaron Bain confirmed the switch, which will see It Aint The Money and Godofthunder become part of the Narissa McMullen team.
“It Aint The Money and Godofthunder will head to Queensland this week,” Bain said. “With the band grading system up in Queensland it will suit them.
“They are both racing in strong form so now is the time to send them.”
Thriving since arriving from New Zealand, It Aint The Money has notched six wins and three seconds from 10 starts for Bain.
Driven by Wayne Hill during his latest victory, It Aint The Money led throughout in 1:58.1 over 1800 metres to account for Manoeuver Man and Steinman.
“He’s done a terrific job since he got here and can hopefully continue that in Queensland,” Bain said.
Godofthunder then outstayed his rivals to score in 2:03.4 for the 2230-metre stand.
Also driven by Hill, Godofthunder overcame a 30-metre handicap to score by six-and-a-half metres from Coolbreze, with Ghent 15 metres away third.
“It was a great weekend for Aaron Bain Racing,” Bain said. “Along with the two winners at Globe Derby we had Ideal World win first-up at Albion Park on Friday night.
“Ideal World is already with Narissa, and along with It Aint The Money and Godofthunder, we may send another couple up soon.”
