Whatever beats him will win the race!

IT’S fair to say Peter Borrelli is confident with Fine Artist’s prospects ahead of tomorrow night’s Globe Derby meeting.

Winner of his last two starts the son of Art Official will begin from barrier two.

But the draw is not what has Borrelli so positive can win.

In fact, Borrelli stated the barrier offers little advantage to Fine Artist.

“It’s not necessarily a good draw for him as he’s not very quick out,” Borrelli said. “Hopefully he can still hold his own and get in to a good spot.

“The way he has been going he doesn’t have to lead to win.”

When asked which runner he believes is the one to beat Borrelli left no room for doubt.

“It’s a pretty strong field but he has been racing well,” Borrelli said. “Whatever beats him will win the race!”

Borrelli doesn’t expect Joes A Character to provide some strong opposition.

With five wins from his last seven starts, Joes A Character has been freshened since finishing tai;ed-off in the South Australia Cup on February 8.

Joes A Character is the sole runner drawn along the second line.

“Joes A Character will go well,” Borrelli said. “But it could depend on where he is in the run from the draw.”
